IMPLIED CONSENT LAW

Implied Consent Law defined means anyone in Illinois who is driving a vehicle automatically adheres to provide a breath, blood, or urine sample to a police officer who arrests the driver with probable cause for testing. Illinois does not allow individuals with a blood alcohol content (BAC) level of 0.08 or higher to operate a vehicle. Commercial drivers must not have a BAC level of 0.04 or higher, and minors must not have any alcohol in their system.
